About us
Established in 1993, Cwlwm Busnes Caerdydd is a Welsh language business group which gives business people from all sectors, in Cardiff and beyond the opportunity to meet, network and discuss business matters.
We organise a number of networking events, and hold an Annual Dinner which is now a highlight of our events calendar.
Cwlwm Busnes gives people the opportunity to network through the medium of Welsh. Our aim is to enable our members to benefit from new business, facilitate opportunities for new contracts and encourage them to benefit from other skills.

Elin Llŷr
Co-Chair
Elin Llŷr is an Account Director at Public Affairs Agency Deryn Consulting, and specialises in the areas of events, communication and engagement. Prior to that, she worked for prominent Members of the Senedd, including Dafydd Elis-Thomas MS and Helen Mary Jones MS. Elin is originally from Cricieth but has settled in Cardiff since graduating from Cardiff University.
Owen John
Co-Chair
Owen John is a partner and solicitor with Darwin Gray in Cardiff. Originally from Cardiff, Owen specialises in employment law and advises employers and employees on all aspects of work law. He acts on behalf of many of Wales' best known employers and businesses. In 2015, Owen established the website cyfreithwyr.com.
